A home for practice, reflection, and community. Not a class. Not a course. A place to return to — again and again.
The Practitioner's Circle is the living center of Circle Yoga Shala — a membership community built around one simple, radical idea: that practice is not something you do occasionally, but something you return to.
Whether you are brand new to yoga or have practiced for decades, this is a place designed for the long arc — not the quick fix. We move slowly, thoughtfully, and together. The emphasis is never on performance or perfection, but on showing up honestly and learning what it means to live a practice rather than simply practice a pose.
Each month carries a single guiding theme — woven through weekly classes, contemplative practices, and community conversation. Over six months, the themes build on each other, creating a rhythm that teaches the body and mind how to settle, deepen, and come alive.
This is a place to begin gently, return consistently, and stay connected to a rhythm that supports your daily life — not just your mat time.
The Circle is led by Holly, Matt, and Stela — each weaving in their own experiences, perspectives, and areas of depth. Together they create a community held by multiple voices, all rooted in the same contemplative tradition.
You do not need experience, flexibility, or certainty to begin. Newcomers are the most important people in the room.
Contemplative inquiry, community, recovery wisdom, and the monthly themes that hold the Circle together.
Philosophy, movement science, Ayurveda, and occasional deep dives into the wisdom traditions that underpin the practice.
Ayurveda, yoga therapy, and the grounded organizational care that holds the community's rhythm steady.
One membership. A full ecosystem of practice, teaching, and community support.
Live yoga classes with Holly, Matt, or Stela. Each session is rooted in the month's theme and designed to be accessible to all levels.
Access to recorded live practices — so you can return to sessions that resonate and practice on your own schedule.
A live community gathering each month to introduce the theme, share teachings, and sit together in reflection. Part class, part conversation, part ritual.
Guided contemplations, self-observation exercises, Ayurvedic daily rhythms, and inquiry prompts to carry the theme into ordinary life.
A space to share written or video reflections with the community. Teachers and fellow practitioners respond with encouragement and insight. Sharing is part of practice here.
Occasional pop-up teachings tied to the seasons, world events, or what the community is asking for — keeping the practice responsive and alive.
Glimpses into the lives, practices, and reflections of your teachers — from the morning routine to the books on the nightstand. The practice as it actually lives, not as it performs.
Those who have completed a Circle Yoga Shala training, like the Foundational 200hr or Advanced 300hr Yoga Teacher Training, will gain access to a special forum designed only for Shala teachers.
10% off all Study courses — Yoga Wisdom Teachings, the Wisdom Enneagram, and Esoteric Christianity — as a permanent member benefit.
The Circle moves through a six-month rhythm — each theme building naturally on the last, creating a progression that feels less like a curriculum and more like a life.

What rhythms shape my nervous system, energy, and attention?
What happens when I fully inhabit my experience?
What does loving consistency look like in my life?
What genuinely nourishes aliveness?
What am I truly giving my life to?

"I was looking for something deeper, profoundly human and healing in the practice of yoga, and I soon discovered that this was the practice to find one's way home."
"You become part of an ongoing supportive learning community. Self-awareness and knowledge are part of the learning process. Repetition allows for a deeper understanding of all the teachings."
"Everything about this place — from the way material is presented to the food and lifestyle — is elegant and intentional. The teachers and community are loving, dedicated, and supportive."
When I imagine the Practitioner's Circle, I think of all the students I've sat with over the years — the ones who came in uncertain, a little afraid, not sure they were doing it right. And I think of how much they changed, not because they mastered anything, but because they kept showing up.
That is what this community is for. Not achievement. Not expertise. Return. Consistency. The slow, honest work of learning to inhabit your own life more fully.
Whether you are completely new to yoga or returning after a long time away — you belong here. Exactly as you are. The door is open.
No. The Practitioner's Circle is designed to welcome complete beginners and experienced practitioners equally. The emphasis is never on performance — it is on honest engagement with practice.
